The correctional sector has many different features that a typical secure kiosk may not have. For instance a major requirement is the kiosk may not have exposed fasters that can be fashioned into weapons. RedyRef’s engineering team designs our correctional kiosks to feature no exposed fastener, ¼” thick steel chassis so parts cannot be damaged and a drainage system so spilled liquids cannot damage electronic equipment and many other features that are required in this harsh environment. RedyRef has multiple kiosk deployments throughout the US penitentiary system.
